Having some problems with my hosting provider. Website has been off line for a few days. It should be back up now but the problem is still not fixed and they are not going out of their way to help a paying customer. I may be trying to find another host here soon.
My new scanner still has not arrived. Problems, problems.
Hopefully this will all blow over and I'll be back in business soon.

I have started to write some reviews of the various books that I own, along with links to purchase them on Amazon.com. If you would like a certain book reviewed you can e-mail me and I will look into it (no promises though).
The purposes of the book reviews is two fold. One, hopefully I can point readers in the right direction when looking for books on a certain subject, and two, if site visitors purchase reviewed books, then the site finds a new source of income. Which is a good thing.

Update:
I am experimenting with a new format and style for the e-books. I am also in the process of trying out a database where all the records for the books on the website are kept. This way it will be easier to do searches and to find the status of a book (i.e. wanted, processing, scanned, html format, etc.)
Also, I am going to try some new stuff to create a revenue stream for the website. I am thinking of trying to do a book review page, with links to Amazon.com. That way if anyone purchases a book after reading my review of it, then I will get some referrals.
I am also thinking of putting some of my scans in PDF documents and then selling them on CD-ROM. That way if anyone wants a digital facsimile edition it will be easy to get one.
Another thought that has occurred to me is that when ever I have posted material that is new on the Internet, it could go into a temporary "pay-to access" place. After it has made $25 I would then retire it out to the free-for-all section.
The reasons that I am considering this ideas is that, the renewal bill for hosting just came up, and as always, money does not grow on trees. I also devote a lot of time to this site, scanning and proofreading material, and those are hours that I am not paid for. Anyway, just some thoughts.

I am testing a new way to display DjVu images, specifically dealing with magazines and serials. I hope this way is easier to use.
I have also been adding books from the Geneva Bible of 1560. The books are scanned images that have not been converted to HTML yet. As it is taking longer than I expected to finish scanning this huge tome, I am just uploading it in parts.
